Best Sub BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer

Best Sub BIC America F12 Front Firing Powered Subwoofer

BIC America F12 12-Inch 475-Watt Front Firing Powered Subwoofer. If you want bass and value, then this sub is for you. This sub is an incredible value. It performs very well for movies and musics. Sounds great for a small price. This subwoofer is pretty dang big, bigger than what i was expecting. Very solid build, the wood is real. The grill plate is heavy, solidly made and protect it well. I have to keep this unit turned down pretty low, it rocks the neighborhood. The rating for this sub is a solid 5 stars.

Bass is nice and tight. Had to do a few adjustments, just as anything new. Bass goes low and integrated with my current system very well. Around 23hz I was able to hear bass, watching Prometheus was a treat. The opening scene really will test your subwoofer ( or subwoofers ), no distortion and bass was low and engulfed me in the movie. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that would like to get a richer sound out of their Home audio system. You won't be disappointed. It makes movies and music sound great. installation itself is very easy, but make sure to select the right parameters on your receiver to enjoy it correctly.

This is probably one of the top 3 subs that you can regularly find for $200 or less. If it's on sale, buy it. It has more than enough power for small rooms, and enough power for medium rooms. Works great for movies, and works well for music if your front speakers can go 80hz or lower. The downside is finding good room placement. You have to experiment a little to get rid of any "boomy-ness" from your listening area.

Buy this sub with confidence that it is very good for the money, however you might want to only buy directly from Amazon as they are the 800 pound gorilla and they have the clout with their suppliers to fix things immediately if not sooner.

Wonderful New Kindle Fire Tablet

New Kindle Fire Tablet

Kindle Fire Tablet 7" LCD Display, Wi-Fi, 8GB, Kindle Fire comes with 8GB on-device storage, so you can download favorite titles to view offline, anytime. You'll also get free, unlimited cloud storage for all your Amazon content, so you can rest easy, knowing that you'll never lose the content you love.

Many people say that they may prefer this tablet over this tablet . In my world I prefer the Kindle Fire over any other tablet ever . In my review you will see why i make my choice .Call me a Kindle Fire fanboy but i don't care. The Kindle Fire desingn is basiclly a black colored tablet with the power button , USB plug and Headphones plug . The settings include volume , wifi and parental controls ( a feature that many parents say that it does not include ) among many other things . The space to add apps , videos , music and books in total is 6gb. Kindle Fire have cool apps. Some of them are Temple Run , Bad Piggies and pretty much every Angry Birds game . You should also consider joning Amazon Prime and this is why : you get hundreds of free movies and tv shows .Via Amazon Prime, you get 25,000 streaming movies and T.V. shows you can watch 24/7 unlimited. We dropped Netflix because Prime Instant Video was so good. Amazon gives you a free month with the either Fire so you'll get to see the value before you buy. (it's a no brainer btw). There are also over a million free books available for the Kindle. I try to limit how many I buy/download but I have over 100 books on my previous Kindle that are waiting to be read, all but like 4 of them were free. Also if you own a Kindle and subscribe to Prime, you can borrow one book per month from the Paid section.

Kindle Fire Easy to Hold in One Hand. Designed to travel with you wherever you go. Small enough to fit in a purse and light enough to hold in just one hand, Kindle Fire is perfect for browsing, playing, reading, and shopping on-the-go. Easy to Read. There are multiple ways to enjoy your favorite web content. With a single touch, the user interface disappears to allow for full screen reading. Or, you can turn on Reading View to enjoy a clean, easy-to-read version of the site that removes all unnecessary images and other website clutter.

This why I think the Kindle Fire is the best tablet ever . Hope that everybody gets and enjoys a Kindle Fire. If you're new to Kindle make sure you understand what you are buying here. Kindles are made -and sold at a highly discounted price- to allow you to purchase media from Amazon. Don't think of this as an android tablet, because it really isn't. Yes Amazon uses the Android operating system but you'd never know they hide it so well. This device is made (basically) exclusively to read/watch/listen to media you buy from Amazon.

What Do I Need To Build My Own Personal Computer

What Do I Need To Build My Own Personal Computer

Building The Computer. If you want to build your own Computer, you need to spec up your computer before making any buying decisions about computer components. The main thing you need to know is what you want to use the computer for. There is no point at all in using the cheapest components if your goal is to play World of Warcraft or any of the latest popular games. There is no need to build a computer with extreme specification if it is going to be used to type letters, play some solitaire and keep your receptionist occupied. Most people who build their own computers are either trying to save a few pennies or are wanting a computer for a specific purpose like video editing or gaming.

Now that you've got a better understanding of what goes into a computer, it's time to actually choose and buy the components you're going to use. In this lesson, I will show you how to most effectively pick out your parts. The article is supposed to be about the minimum requirements to build a working Computer. You will need:

1. The Case

If you want to buy a case, you need to know what size case you choose should match the kind of motherboard you're buying. If you're going for a very high performance computer with many drives and expansion cards, a full tower is probably overkill for most users. I recommended, Antec and Cooler master both make some of the best cases on the market.

2. The Motherboard

As you look at motherboards, you'll want to pay attention to quite a few things. Here are some of the more important features:

Socket Type: Your socket type (such as AMD's "AM2" socket, or Intel's "LGA 1155" socket) determines which processors you can use with that board. So, if you've already narrowed down the kind of processor you want, this is a good first step to narrowing down your motherboard. Look for a model with a socket type that matches your processor to ensure that the two are compatible.

Size: Motherboards generally come in three sizes: Mini ITX, Micro ATX, and full ATX. The more advanced features you need, the larger the motherboard will need to be, which will also determine the size of your case (and final machine). Generally, your motherboard will be dependent on these other factors, but if you absolutely need a super small machine, you'll want to filter your choices to reflect that.

Number and Types of external Ports: Look at the ports available on the motherboard. Do you need a lot of USB ports? You'll either want a motherboard that has them or enough PCI slots to support extra USB adapters. Do you need HDMI out? If you aren't getting a graphics card (and you're planning to use your computer with a monitor), you'll need graphics integrated with the motherboard. Do you want fast Gigabit LAN? Some motherboards only have 10/100, which won't give you fast enough speeds. Do you want any new, super fast USB 3.0 ports? If you want to take advantage of any USB 3.0 peripherals, you'll need compatible ports on your motherboard. If you're set on a motherboard that doesn't have a feature you need, you can add most with expansion cards, but life is always easier if the motherboard has them built in.

Amount of supported RAM: If you plan on having a lot of RAM in your machine, you'll need a motherboard that supports it. If you're overclocking your processor, you also want to check the top RAM speed your motherboard supports, since you'll probably have to boost your RAM speed when you overclock.

Integrated Graphics: If all you're going to do is browse the web, use Microsoft Office, and perform other simple tasks, you may be better off choosing a motherboard with integrated graphics. You only need to shell out for a separate graphics card if you're playing video games, and maybe if you're playing HD video (though some integrated graphics chips can even do that nowadays). If you're getting a separate graphics card, it doesn't really matter if your motherboard has integrated graphics or not.

Number of SATA Ports: This determines how many internal hard drives and optical drives you can have. For most builds, this is only really a concern if you plan on having a lot of drives in your computer (like if you're building a server or a NAS).

Number of PCI Slots: You can only have as many expansion cards as you have PCI slots, so if you want a dedicated video card (or two), a dedicated sound card, extra USB ports, extra LAN ports, a Wi-Fi adapter, or other expansion cards you need to make sure your motherboard has enough of them.

Chipset: Your motherboard's chipset determines a lot of the more advanced features it has. Some chipsets support overclocking, some do not. Some support SLI and Crossfire (using multiple video cards in tandem), some do not. Others are better for turning into Hackintoshes. If you didn't understand any of the things I just said, you probably don't need to pay too close attention to this but if you want certain advanced features, chipset will narrow your selection considerably.

Brands Recommend : ASUS, GIGABYTE, and MSI are probably the biggest name in motherboards. However, BIOSTAR and ASRock are well known for good budget boards, if you're trying to keep the cost down.

3. The RAM

Memory (RAM) in today's world a minimum of 2 GB is essential, 4 GB or 8 GB is better. You can buy for 2 GB first if you are trying to keep the cost down. You can upgrade your system memory then if you have budget. If you are buying RAM, the first thing you do is look at the motherboard's spec list. Most RAM nowadays is "DDR3", which is the latest generation of RAM. Popular Brands for the best RAM on the market are Crucial, Corsair and Kingston. You won't find a huge difference between brand.

4. The Graphics Card

If your motherboard does not have it on board a Graphics card will be required. Brands recommended : NVIDIA and ATI (now branded as AMD). MSI and ZOTAC are also popular choices, as are ASUS, and Sapphire.

5. The Hard Drive(s)

Hard Drive, A range of hard drives from 250 GB to 3 TB are available at present. Brands to recommend: Western Digital, Seagate, Hitachi, Samsung, and Toshiba are all good choices.

6. The Optical Drive

Optical Drive, in old school tech the CD drive, today you will be looking at DVD Writers or Blu-Ray. Brands recommend : Samsung, Sony, and LG are all great manufacturers.

7. The Power Supply

The power supply is actually one of the most important choices in your build. This is not an area you want to skip. Reviews on the net are rarely useful, either, with the exception of a few reputable sites like Jonnyguru.com. The best you can do is buy from a good brand.

8. Keyboard and Mouse

9. Monitor

The components above will give you to build a working PC, to add sound a set of speakers and a sound card if the motherboard does not have one on board.

How To Upgrade Your Laptops System Memory

Upgrade Laptops System Memory

Upgrade Laptops System Memory. It's not as hard as you might think to upgrade your laptop's memory and only requires one or two tools and a little research to do it. Instead of taking your laptop to your local computer repair shop, and spending money to have it done, why not do it yourself?

This guide will show you how to upgrade your laptop's computer memory. Installation of RAM is one of the easiest way to speed up your computer as only hardware installation is needed, without the need of any software. It is also relatively inexpensive to upgrade compared to other parts.

Here's the steps how to upgrade your laptops System Memory :

After you've bought the manufacturer specified memory for your laptop along with the amount of memory you want to upgrade it to, all you need to do is install it. Just follow the steps how to install and upgrade your laptop system memory below :

1. Save your work, shut down your computer, and close the display.
2. Disconnect all external devices attached to the laptop (like printers, flash drives, and headsets).
3. Unplug the A/C adapter from your computer.
4. Turn the laptop upside down on a flat surface.
5. Remove the laptop battery
6. Loosen the 3 screws on the memory module compartment
7. Lift the compartment cover away from the computer
8. Remove the existing memory module(s)
To remove the memory, all you have to do is push out on the silver rails that run up both sides of the memory stick. The "rails" have a little bend or nodule that click in to the side of the memory stick (95% of the time this rail system is used, but a few manufacturers use a different system on some of their laptops. But, all in all, the different configurations are easy to figure out). Just use your fingers to push the rail out to the side simultaneously on both sides and the memory stick should pop up. Caution, don't try to force it out with any metal tools, if your fingers are too big, use a toothpick or some other plastic (like a credit card) to move the rail to the side, one side at a time, while gently lifting up on the memory stick. If it still won't release, try pressing down on it, or you might try to gently wiggle it a bit to see if that will loosen it up.

9. Insert the new RAM module into the compartment
To install the new memory, Insert memory stick (copper pin side down) and in to the memory slot. The memory slot has a built in crossbar that corresponds to a slot cut in to the memory module, be sure to line these up. Make sure the module is seated all the way down in to the on board slot, then gently push down until you hear a click, don't force it. Sometimes you might have to move the rails out a little bit to get the memory to seat correctly.

10. Align the tabs of the cover with the notches on the computer and close the cover.
11. Tighten the screws on the memory compartment.
12. Replace the battery, reattach the external devices, and plug the laptop back into the A/C outlet.

Now you're all done! Fire up your laptop and go to your Computer icon on the desktop or from the start menu, right click, select properties at the bottom of the drop down menu to bring up the System window, and check the "Installed Memory" line to see the new memory you've just installed.

How To Remove Computer Viruses

Remove Computer Viruses. The Reason why your computer slow down is :
1. Your Computer have too many programs but not enough memory
2. Your Computer have a virus or spyware

However if your computer slow down because infected by virus or spyware there are virus removal methods to consider before the damage becomes irreversible.

Do you know about Virus?
Virus is a software program can cause tramendous damage to your Computer. Damage to files and programs on your computer and even your computer's hard drive can cost hundreds to replace. Therefore, we must take the steps to remove the virus or spyware

What are some signs of a computer viral infection?
  • The computer runs much slower than usual.
  • You get a barrage of pop-up ads, or programs constant restart randomly.
  • The computer crashes or freezes for no apparent reason.
  • You type in one website URL, but are constantly redirected to another.
Sometimes, the damage is minimal, to where it just alters the desktop picture. In other cases, you may get numerous pop-up ads. However, some viruses can erase information or even shut down the computer, while severe ones may also create a security loophole, resulting in identity theft anytime you shop online. Fortunately, there are steps that can stop any of these things from happening.

1. Using The Virus Scan On your Computer.

The first step if your computer infected by virus is downloading a good Antivirus Program.  This acts as a safeguard against any malicious software or websites that could cripple the computer. Some programs offer a free trial, then a paid subscription when the trial expires. However, if you just need basic protection, free software exists, and monitors for potential threats. Make sure the program also protects against spyware, which can cause just as much trouble. If it does not, you may need to download an antispyware program as well.

2. Run a Security Scan Periodically

We must scan our Computer regularly usually about onece a week. The Scan will be take  about half an hour minimum. When we scan pur computer, we still allow you  to perform other computer tasks like surfing the internet or playing a game.

If your computer still get slow down, you can read these articles "How to make faster the computer slow" and "How to Protect Your Computer from virises"

Palm TX Handheld Review

Palm TX Handheld

Best Deal Palm TX Handheld. I can recommend the TX as a good buy. This is a fantastic product. I think that the Palm TX represents one of the best values in today's world of consumer electronics. It is powerful, fast, has a generous amount of built in storage ( with a SD/ SDIO slot for more ), infrared, and has both Bluetooth and WiFi technologies. I am also impressed by the quality and usefulness of the basic software package. You can easily surf the web check email ( even .Mac accounts! ) open a variety of documents, view photos, play mp3's, and watch film clips without needing any third party applications. I am particularly pleased by the ease of setup for using the Bluetooth and WiFi functions. The WiFi is completely intuitive, with extremely clear instructions. Whether connecting to your home wireless network or a T Mobile Hot Spot you're up and running in seconds. This is the wireless device you’ve been waiting for.

The Palm TX Handheld features 128 MB of flash memory ,Built-in wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi (802.11b) and Bluetooth, Easily manage email on the road or access files on your office desktop PC,Expansion slot that supports MMC, SD, and SDIO memory cards and Palm Desktop Software for Windows and Mac. It also features a high-resolution 320 x 480-pixel screen (with portrait and landscape orientation modes), a fast Intel 312 MHz ARM-based processor, and expansion slot for Secure Digital (SD), MultiMedia (MMC), and Secure Digital I/O (SDIO) cards. The 128 MB of non-volatile flash memory (of which approximately 100 MB is available for files and software) protects your documents and information, even if the device is not charged and the power runs down. And, of course, the Palm TX features Palm's suite of information management applications, the ability to edit Word- and Excel-compatible files, and synchronization with Microsoft Outlook (Windows only).

Palm TX Handheld

Design

The TX has solid body and finish. It is black plastic, though it is very rigid and almost feels like a metallic shell. Overall the TX has a very simple and smooth design.

Hardware

The Palm TX is powered by a 312 MHz Intel XScale (PXA270 family) processor and runs Palm OS Garnet v.5.4.9. It has 128 MB of nonvolatile memory, of which 100 MB is user accessible. It has both Bluetooth (v1.1) and Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless technology. It also has a SD expansion slot for SD, SDIO and MMC memory cards.

Screen

The TX has a 16bit color, 480x320 pixel transflective TFT screen, which measures 3.25" x 2.2" inches. It is the same improved display that the LifeDrive is equipped with. The display is 30% brighter and has 40% better color saturation than previous models. The screen is very vibrant and holds up extremely well both outdoors and in direct sunlight. There is an on-screen slider to adjust, but it does not turn off the backlight. The display supports both portrait and wide-screen landscape orientations and switches with a touch of the icon on the status bar.

Processor

The Palm TX uses a 312 MHz Intel XScale processor. While not the fastest chip on the market the TX performs very well and the lower clock speed helps increase battery life. Listening to an mp3 and browsing the web over Wi-Fi was no problem and every game I threw at it ran very smoothly. Benchmark v3.0 rates the performance at 515%.

Dual Wireless

The Palm TX has both Bluetooth v1.1 and a WiFi (802.11b) wireless radio's built in. The TX is one of the most affordable PDA's on the market with integrated dual wireless. Both radios can be used concurrently.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is controlled by a signal strength indicator on the status bar. Setting up a network connection is a fast and easy. There is a network scanner that shows all networks in range. If the network is open all you need to do is tap connect and wait 2 seconds to establish a link. The Wi-Fi signal range on the TX is quite good. It supports both WEP and WPA wireless security.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth can keep you connected on the road via a compatible mobile phone if you can't find a nearby WiFi hotspot for internet access. With Bluetooth, you can dial out contacts from your address book, send and receive files and applications wirelessly, send sms and photos from your phone, link up to a Bluetooth GPS, hotsync wirelessly, and connect to the internet from a bluetooth mobile phone, computer or a bluetooth access point. Palm includes setup wizards that make connecting to a bluetooth phone and dial-up network connection very easy.

Memory

The Palm TX has 128 MB of nonvolatile flash memory, of which 100 MB is available. This is a pretty ample amount of internal space, given its price point. There is no usb drive mode, as seen on the T5 and LifeDrive. Because the unit uses nonvolatile flash memory, it will always preserve its data even when the battery completely runs out. TCPMP reports the dynamic heap as 4 megabytes.

Audio

The TX has a rear mounted mono speaker. The speaker is adequate for games and alarms. You can also play mp3's though the speaker but headphones (not included) will provide a much better experience. It has a standard 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack. Unfortunately, the T5 does not include vibration support or and LED for silent alarms and does not have a microphone. I was disappointed to discover the TX still uses the same old fashioned pilot 1000 alarm sounds for the calendar.

Mulit-Connector

The TX has the now standard Palm multi-connector for hotsyncing and recharging. The TX hotsync runs at usb 1.1 speeds. Unfortunately, the TX does not ship with a cradle. Instead it comes with a USB cable and a separate AC charger, that can plug directly into the handheld or into the dual USB cable connector. The USB cable alone will not charge the handheld from the computer, you must attach the AC cord. The supplied USB cable has a button on the connector that can be used to initiate a hotsync.

Battery
The TX has a non-removable 1250 mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery. Palm states the TX will have a 5 day battery life with normal usage. Normal usage according to Palm would be approximately 40 minutes/day (20 mins of Wi-Fi, 20 mins of non wireless use such as PIMs, Photos and Docs). The Palm TX can play continuous mp3 audio for about six and a half hours. I was able to average around 5 and half hours of various use per charge while using wireless a couple times a day. If you plan on using the Wi-Fi often, you will definitely have a shorter life span.

Multimedia

The Palm TX comes bundled with Pocket Tunes MP3 player for playing music files or Podcasts, which allows you to create and edit play lists, shuffle songs and navigate by album, artist or genre. The Palm TX also includes built-in software for viewing digital photos and video clips. And with MobiTV software (sold separately), you can view a wide range of television programs, including news, sports and entertainment, directly on the Palm TX handheld.

Operating System and Software

Veteran Palm OS handheld users will immediately notice the new Favorites view, which provides easy access to applications, files, and folders. The installed Palm OS 5.4 also introduces the Files application, which enables easy navigation among folders and files. It uses the intuitive and easy-to-learn Graffiti 2 writing software to input data into the handheld (as well as an on-screen keyboard). Windows users can synchronize their calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes with Microsoft Outlook. The Palm OS features the following organizer applications:

  • Contacts: Lets you store several addresses for each contact, and with new fields for more phone numbers, multiple e-mail addresses, instant messenger IDs, and Web sites.
  • Calendar: Use the new Agenda view to see upcoming calendar events, tasks due, and important e-mail, and color-code your events to provide an easy way to reference your calendar in the Agenda, Day, Week, and Month views. Take more notes, or synchronize more details from your desktop, in the larger Memos and Notes fields.
  • Tasks: Use tasks with alarms and repeating tasks to set reminders for important commients.

Compatibility

The Palm TX is compatible with PCs running Windows Windows 2000 (SP4) and XP (Outlook synchronization requires MS Outlook 2000, 2002, or 2003; sold separately), and with Macs running Mac OS 10.2.8 to 10.4.

Where To Buy

If you are looking the best price for Palm TX Handheld, I recommend you must buy from Amazon because amazon (and pretty much any other site's) lowest price available for an online deal for this Product. Amazon offer the cheapest price only $169.31. Buy now before the price shot up.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wifi Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 inch Wifi

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7-Inch, Wi-Fi) is a brand new product from Samsung. If you looking for this device, you can get the best deal and special offer from Amazon. Amazon offer price $199.99, You can get discount and it costs only $179.00. I recommend you must buy from amazon because amazon (and pretty much any other site's) lowest price available for an online deal for this device.

There are a lot of tablets at or below this price but they are mostly very low end devices with slow CPUs, poor screens and built for non-US markets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 makes none of the compromises typical of this price point and provides the same kind of performance you'd expect from the rest of the Samsung Galaxy Tab portfolio. It's fast, slick, has a great screen and even has Android 4.03 (Ice Cream Sandwich). I do like the new operating system and adapted to it in minutes. In addition to front & rear cameras there is bluetooth and even an IR blaster so you can use it as a remote for your TV. It only took a minute to set that up and get a program guide downloaded. All the apps on my Gingerbread phone loaded up to the Tab and run fine on the ICS platform. I can't comment on battery life yet as I plugged it for the initial charge and setup and haven't run on battery yet. As far as WiFi reception goes, it picks up all the same signals at the same strength as my laptop so no problem there.

I have to say, the Galaxy Tab 2 is an excellent choice for a budget shopper. It is very fast and the screen is very sensitive and easy to use. The battery does not last as long as the iPad, but this is a smaller unit. It fits perfectly in your hands and is easy to type on due to the perfect size. The iPad is rather large for typing and sometimes too big for easy surfing. This is an excellent bargain. The expandable memory is awesome! Very well designed.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Wifi Review

Performance

The device responds quickly to commands, plays media flawlessly, and runs every app without incident, but after a week of using the device, there was an odd slow down of the home screen that occurred for about 5 minutes, I did not get the issue again since, that is the only issue I have had with the performance. I think it was the stock TouchWiz interface, I have since switched to GOLauncher, it's great.

Battery Life

The battery life is great so far, after being charged to 100% I got 2 days of use without charging, tasks on the device included a little web browsing, browsing and installing apps, and some video/picture taking.

Networking

The device is WiFi only; I have had no issues with it, reception is no different than the other WiFi devices in my household.

Interface

The device uses Samsung's TouchWiz interface; which to my guess is a modified 4.0 interface, it is a nice interface, without lag, but the lock screen seems a little boring, I will probably look into using the default 4.0 interface, or something else.

Screen

The screen is very good in my opinion, it displays content nicely, and it is very responsive. There have been a few instances where I have sworn I tapped the screen and nothing happened, it could be my error, or the device's.

Audio

The device features two speakers at the bottom of the device, which sound nice but are not the best I have ever heard. The microphone is located at the top of the device near the 3.5 mm headphone jack, from a little use of the Google voice command feature, I have found no issues.

Cameras

The device features a front and rear camera, the rear camera is 3 MP which takes decent photos, while the front camera is a VGA camera that is good for video chat, it is no SLR camera, but has good cameras.

Ports

The Tab 2 features a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, Micro SD slot with door, proprietary Samsung USB port at the bottom. The most interesting is a built in IR Blaster located on the right side, which is supposed to be used with the included Peel Remote app ( I had to manually update the app before being able to use it) which worked very well with controlling my devices (LCD TV, Sony Surround system, Comcast DVR). My only true gripe is the lack of a Micro USB or micro HDMI port to be used with projecting content onto a TV screen, one must purchase Samsung's adapter to do so.

Buttons

The Tab 2 features only 2 buttons, which are located on the right side of the device, the first button is the usual lock/wake button, and a volume up/down button, I would of liked to see a Home button, but the 4.0 interface takes care of that.

Build Quality

The Tab 2 has a solid hard plastic build, the back of the device features a soft metal like shell that feels good when held.

Pre-installed Apps

This is one of my gripes with the Tab 2, the device comes pre-installed with a suite of bloatware, that cannot be installed as far as I have discovered, I prefer the default Android apps, with apps I choose to install. It does come with some useful apps such as Netflix and Kindle bookstore.

How to Shutdown windows 8

Shutdown Windows 8 Just One Click. If you are Windows 8 user and Once you have mastered you navigation skills around Windows 8, you might be thinking the Shutdown button is a little too hidden, and you would like an easier way to shut down your computer, then this tutorial is for you.  Once each step is completed, you will have a 'Shutdown' tile on your 'Start Screen', and a 'Shutdown' shortcut on your desktop, so whichever screen you are in, you can quickly and easily shut down your computer at the end of your session.

There’s an easy way to put the shutdown and restart functions just one click away from the desktop and Start screen. Let's start with creating a 'Shutdown' icon on your desktop. Just create shortcuts for both actions using the following steps.

Here is a method to create one-click Shutdown and Restart shortcuts/buttons for both Desktop and Start Screen:

1. First, get to the main desktop screen.
2. Next, right click on the desktop and select New --> Shortcut.

3. Enter shutdown /s /t 0 (that’s a zero) in the location box and hit Next.

4. Enter a name for the new shortcut ('Shutdown' is a good choice) and click 'Finish.'

5. Next Step Selecting a Shutdown Icon. Right click on your brand new shortcut and then left click on 'Properties.' A new dialog box will appear.

6. Click Change Icon under the Shortcut tab then Click Ok in warning box that says shutdown.exe contains no icons.

7. Select an Icon from the list of available images Click Ok twice (once to close the Change Icon window and once to close Properties window). Your shortcut will now have an icon.

8. Right click the shortcut and select Pin to Start. The shutdown icon will now appear on your Start screen.

9. Drag the shutdown icon to a prominent place on your Start screen. We recommend putting it in the first column to the left so you will always see it.

10. Right click the icon and select Pin to Taskbar if you want the shortcut to live on your desktop’s taskbar as well.

11. Repeat the previous steps to create a Restart button. Use the command “shutdown /r /t 0″ in the location field.
